DUBLIN, Calif., April 22, 2004 -- SuperGen Inc dacogen. announced today that the Foodand Drug Administration has granted its request for a rolling NDA submissionfor Dacogen (decitabine) for injection dacogen. The planned NDA will focus on patientswith Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) dacogen. SuperGen anticipates it will begin submittingdata in this quarter, and will complete its submissions by the end of the thirdquarter of 2004.

The rolling submission is an FDA provision available to drug candidates thathave received Fast Track designation, and allows for completed sections of anNDA to be submitted on an ongoing basis dacogen. Fast Track status for Dacogen was grantedby the FDA on May 9, 2003.
